Wrestling with Stars

By Tagen

so encloaked,
so enshrouded,
a mist covers the moon.

and I laugh,
aloud,
remembering a riddled tune.

afar, atop
misted pines
and darker dredges,
I cry
and cry
over her wretched tomb,

it's hedges
feathering me, too.

so I fly,
and wolves cry,
down
down
down

to my own dismal doom.

I really love the first stanza as it whispers so softly to me. I have always found mist to be so peaceful, and coupling it with the inherent beauty of the Moon, it's just priceless. I'm really enjoying your work, and I'll definitely be reading more. Great job, darlin'. Rebs:).
